Tariq Ramadan replaces Pim Fortuyn

Pim Fortuyn is dead and buried. His political followers marginalized and removed from office. Now the old elite runs the city of Rotterdam again and has invited Tariq Ramadan. He is made guest professor at the Erasmus University; the same university Pim Fortuyn once was professor. The chair is paid for by the city of Rotterdam (200.000 euro a year). Integration alderman Orhan Kaya (Green Party) announced the good news and said that Tariq is going to contribute to the integration of Muslims in the city. Or could it be the other way around?

Tariq Ramadan is the grand son of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. Because of his involvement in terrorism, he is not allowed to enter the US. Read all about it at the website of arabist Daniel Pipes.
