Swallow the EU, get the UN for free

In EU Refererendum this morning another rather shocking detail about the Turnip that our political leaders conveniently failed to mention: If the Turnip ever comes into effect, all member states will be forced to make legally binding any agreements made between the EU (independent of member states) and the UN.

While member states still have a veto on such agreements under the Turnip, the Turnip is written in such a way that it will be very hard to do so. Writes EU Referendum:
Effectively, by virtue of Article 4, member states could even be in breach of the treaty if their representatives exercised their rights, under the unanimity provisions, to veto an agreement, this Article specifically prohibiting member states from taking any measures "which could jeopardise the attainment of the Union's objectives".
I don't even know where to begin. Maybe I should start here.
