For the 13th (!) year in a row the EU's accountants, gathered together in the European Court of Auditors, have refused to sign off on the EU's accounts. England Expects has the details and promises a follow-up. The actual report can be found here (pdf, 291p), courtesy of EU Referendum.
Not terribly exciting news. In fact, it would be (mildly) exciting if the EU for once came up with an end account that was actually approved by their own accountants. Anything else is decidedly not news and frankly kind of boring. But it is good to know that the EU keeps delivering in a manner we've come to expect.
