Apparently El Presidente has said:
Governments are not always right. If governments were always right we would not have the situation that we have today. Decisions taken by the most democratic institutions in the world are very often wrong.Very often wrong? By whose standards? One would think that decisions made in democratic institutions make the right decisions, according to a majority of its members or voters. But apparently the common folk voting in these institutions are 'very often wrong'.
Isn't this quote not exactly what you need to know about the true nature if the EUnion? (via Sue)
